CLASS II Norton Cross, Skenfrith-for a school with only 12 pupils the volume of work produced for this project was staggering. Topics covered included Victorian Schools (including a trip to St. Fagans), Evacuees and All Our Memories which involved taping the memories of the village's senior citizens. Llanofer-project concentrating on Lady Augusta Hall and her influence on the village. Field work was conbined with interviews with local people to produce a very colourful and informative project. Llanfair Cilgedin-taking the Monmouth and Brecon Canal as their starting point the school explored the area's industrial connections, and association with the Crawshay dynasty of Merthyr. Family history research was also undertaken-and large (and colourful) family trees produced. Llantillio Pertholey School
